MDA TECHNOLOGIES WINS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD
Mid-Size Business of the Year
Woodbridge, VA – November 28, 2006. MDA Technologies, specialists in custom applications, databases, web development, engineering services, project management solutions, and the developers of the first real-time PDA-based “patient transport system” was recognized as the “Mid-Size Business 2006” by the Prince William Regional Chamber of Commerce at its annual Awards Dinner held at Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club on October 19, 2006.
The seven awards presented served to showcase the diversity of the Prince William Region’s business community in categories of Small Business, Mid-Size Business, Large Business, New Business, Home-Based Business, Community Service Organization, and Innovative Business Practice. Winners were selected based on a combination of factors, including business type and size, industry achievements and community involvement.
“Being the recipient of this prestigious award serves as another marker in MDA Technologies journey towards achieving the goals we’ve set for the company,” says Tim Jackson, MDA Technologies CEO. “We are both delighted and humbled to be included amongst the seven winners,” he added.
In 2000, Tim Jackson and Al Maxey founded MDA Technologies as a virtual, home-based company designed to help businesses and government entities become more efficient and profitable through the innovative application of technology. Over the years, MDA Technologies has served more than 152 customers on nearly 400 projects.

Growing exponentially with the region, MDA Technologies experienced revenue growth of 45% in 2005 and projects growth of 75% in 2006. The trend continues as the 2006 revenue has already surpassed 2005 gross revenue, and is projected at an estimated 75% increase over 2005.
